Usman Samura is an accomplished Environmental Consultant with extensive experience in environmental management, social development, and engineering supervision in Sierra Leone. He currently serves as a Consultant at Green Vital Environmental and Engineering Consultancy, where he contributes to environmental assessment, community development initiatives, and sustainable project implementation.
Mr. Samura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, with a specialization in Biology, from Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology. His academic background has provided him with strong expertise in environmental sustainability, ecological management, and scientific research.
Following his graduation, Mr. Samura began his professional career in 2014 with Médecins du Monde, where he worked as a Psychosocial Counseling Staff member supporting community welfare and social intervention programs. His dedication to community engagement and development later led him into the engineering and construction sector, where he served as an Engineering Supervisor for construction projects in Koinadugu District. In this role, he gained valuable experience in project coordination, field supervision, and infrastructure development.
Over the years, Mr. Samura has built a strong reputation for his professionalism, technical competence, and commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. His multidisciplinary experience across environmental consultancy, social services, and engineering supervision enables him to effectively contribute to diverse development and environmental projects within Sierra Leone and beyond.
